Eliphalet Fisher was born on June 8, 1747 to Benjamin Fisher and Sarah Everett Fisher.
Like his father, Eliphalet was a farmer. He was also a member of the local militia and was a Revolutionary War veteran.
On December 5, 1771, Eliphalet married Judith Bullard, the daughter of Joshua and Ann Bullard. Judith had been born on September 7, 1749. The couple had five children: Eliphalet, Judith, Olive, Obed, and Abigail.
Judith Bullard Fisher died on July 25, 1796. (lot 226)
On March 15, 1797, Eliphalet Fisher married Relief Blake, the daughter of Ebenezer and Mercy Blake of Dorchester. Relief was born on August 7, 1768. Eliphalet and Relief had one child, Betsey B. Fisher, born in 1802.
Eliphalet Fisher died on April 26, 1819 at the age of 72. (lot 251) His widow, Relief Blake Fisher died on August 22, 1844. The cause of her death was recorded as ‘old age.’ (lot 252)
