Samuel Newell Page was born on January 26, 1828 in Maine. On November 29, 1855, he married Emily B. Fairbanks of Dedham. Emily was the daughter of James M. Fairbanks and Roxanna Gay Fairbanks (lot 118).

Samuel and Emily Page had four children, three of whom died young.

Edwin W. Page was born on October 25, 1860. He died on June 30, 1876 at 16 years of age. The cause of his death was Erysipelas, a bacterial infection that causes a red, raised rash on the skin, usually on the legs or face. 

Addie W. Page was born on May 15, 1862. She died on September 11, 1862 of congestion of the brain.

Herbert W. Page was born in March of 1865; he passed away only 18 days later on April 10, 1865 due to failure to thrive.

Their fourth child, Lillian Page, was born in 1868; she lived to adulthood.

Edwin, Addie, and Herbert Page were interred in lot 111 of Old Parish Cemetery, a lot which belonged to Samuel Page.

Their mother Emily B. Fairbanks Page, died on December 31, 1892. It is likely that at that time, the memorial to the family was erected at Highland Cemetery, lot 393, and the three children were removed to that site. Samual Page died in 1908.
