2022 NORWOOD READS FREDERICK DOUGLASS TOGETHER
The 2022 Frederick Douglass event was part of Norwood's annual July 4 festivities. 2022 was also the first Juneteenth Celebration held on Norwood Town Common on June 18.. Attendees at Juneteenth were invited to volunteer for the Reading Frederick Douglass event.

After cancelling the reenactment of Douglass' 1852 speech in 2020 due to the pandemic, Old Parish Preservation Volunteers resumed the annual event for Independence Day 2021.
