Norwood Area Geologic Map

Dedham Granite - Light grayish-pink to greenish-gray, equigranular to slightly porphyritic, variably altered, granite south and west of Boston. A good example of a Dedham Granite outcrop is the Rt 109 and Rt 128 interchange. It typically has a pink to purple color, but can also be gray.
